About the FOB

Forward Operating Bar

Forward Operating Bar is a WARDOGS community for grown-up gamers, mostly dads in their 30s and 40s, who want to unwind, have a few drinks and play something that feels like a real fight.

We're casual most of the time and tactical when it counts. On a good night that means full squads working the Control Zone, calling out enemies, reviving each other and spending the team's cash like we planned it. On a normal night it means that, plus a lot of laughing at whoever drove the Humvee into a ditch.

Nobody here is chasing a leaderboard or a pro career. We've got jobs, kids and early mornings. The FOB is where you come to decompress, crack a cold one and play with people who get it.

How we roll

  • Mission first (mostly)When it's go time, we play the objective as a team. The rest of the time, we're here to hang out.
  • Family comes firstKid wakes up, spouse needs you, early shift tomorrow? Go. No explanations needed.
  • Laugh it offNo raging, no blaming, no drama. A wipe is just a good story for later.
  • Nobody left behindNew to WARDOGS or rusty on shooters? Someone will show you the ropes, at your pace.
  • Know your limitGrown-ups only (21+). Have a few, have fun, and look out for each other.

Moving up the ranks

Ranks are earned by showing up, not by stats. Every op night you spend in FOB voice counts.

Recruit→Regular · 5→Veteran · 25→Top Shelf · 50→Old Guard · 100

Numbers are op nights attended. You also get a service stripe for every 10 nights. Bartenders (the admins) and the Owner wear staff badges on top of their rank. See everyone on the Regulars wall.
